At Four Balanced Paws I strive to provide holistic pet care that is tailored to each pet's individual needs. I am a pet professional offering a wide range of services including reiki for animals and their people, dog massage, cold laser, aroma therapy and more. My goal is to ensure that your beloved pet is living balanced and healthy life.
REIKI
Reiki is a Japanese relaxation technique that balances the energy systems of the body. Being in balance creates a sense of well being and allows the body to heal naturally.

I use a system called Let the Animals Lead ® Method of reiki. Unlike Western Reiki, which uses laying of hands, this method does not require me to touch the animal. This in turn allows me to work with rescued or traumatized animals, wild animals or animals that are too delicate to touch.

I offer Reiki sessions for animals and people. I have found that animals receive benefit from just being with their person during a reiki session. Becoming more relaxed and at ease.

MASSAGE & MORE
Massage & more is a combination of techniques, cold laser/red light therapy, vibrational therapy and essential oils.
Canine massage are a techniques involving the manipulation of a dog's soft tissues, such as muscles and connective tissues, to promote relaxation, reduce muscle tension, and enhance overall well-being.
Cold laser and red light therapy can help with inflammation and reducing pain.

Consultations: 30-minute and 1 hour phone or Zoom consultations on holistic and natural pet care. With 20+ years of experience in holistic health, including massage, reiki, herbal remedies, raw feeding, and natural pet care, I tailor recommendations to enhance your dog's well-being. Each consultation includes a detailed written follow-up on your pet's holistic health journey.

Veterinary Consultation: Before starting any form of massage therapy for a dog, it's crucial to consult with a veterinarian. A vet can assess the dog's overall health, identify any underlying issues, and determine whether massage is an appropriate complementary therapy.

Owner Involvement: In some cases, dog owners may be taught basic massage techniques to use at home. This year I will be adding Learn to Massage Your Dog classes. If you are interested please stay in touch.

Travel Charges
Travel outside of Greenville County (Anderson, Pickens, Spartanburg) add $10. Other areas will be assessed by mileage.

It All Started With A Dog
Animal Reiki, Canine Massage, Cold Laser Therapy and More

In 2013, my world shifted.
That was the year my sweet boy Walter was diagnosed with prostate cancer and given just six months to live. No one ever wants to hear that kind of news — it’s like the floor drops out from under you. But thankfully, we had a vet who was more than just traditional. She practiced integrative medicine, blending the best of Western veterinary care with Traditional Chinese Medicine, including herbs, acupuncture, and massage.
Looking back, that was the beginning of everything.
Driven by the need to help Walter in every way I could, I immersed myself in holistic healing. That same year, I became a Certified Canine Massage Therapist and a Healing Touch for Animals Practitioner. I truly believe those modalities — combined with good food, herbs, and the care of our amazing vet — helped Walter not only stay comfortable but actually thrive for four more beautiful years.
Through massage, we released his muscular tension. With Healing Touch, we supported his energy and opened the pathways in his body. And by listening to what he needed, we were able to walk a different path than the one we were told was inevitable.
Walter guided me here. He gave me a purpose I hadn’t known was waiting.
Today, I carry that purpose with me in everything I do. Through my work, I now offer canine massage, energy work, and holistic support to dogs and their humans who are looking for a gentler, more connected way to heal. Walter’s journey became mine — and I’m honored to walk this road now with others.
